Principal
Mr. Tennery, a native of Ohio, is Principal of the Office Properties group of Regent Partners. Tennery studied Business Administration at Ohio State University, and attended Lycee Paul Valeree in Paris, France. He holds a Masters with Honors in Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet International.
Mr. Tennery has been in the commercial real estate business since 1981; moving from the accounting field, into a project finance role with Texas developer, Vantage Companies. Prior to joining Regent Partners, Mr. Tennery's real estate experience was with The Landmarks Group, The Hogan Group, and Urbana Realty Advisors. In those organizations, Mr. Tennery served in various capacities including Managing Director of Leasing and Acquisitions, Chief Development Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Principal.
Tennery has been involved in the development of more than 5-million square feet of office, retail, industrial, and hotel properties in the U.S. and Latin America. Notable projects include Concourse Corporate Center, Glenridge Highlands (Headquarters for Cingular Wireless, LLC), The Hotel InterContinental Buckhead, and Pershing Park Plaza, all in Atlanta. Other projects include Pasaje Santa Fe, in Mexico City, Mexico, North by Northwest Business Park, Houston, Texas, and Landmarks Centre (Now SunTrust Tower), in downtown Tampa, Florida. Mr. Tennery has also been directly involved in real estate asset acquisition and disposition workouts. His key career emphasis has been driving value creation through asset development and repositioning.
Mr. Tennery's real estate affiliations are with CoreNet International, CoreNet Executive Development Group, where he has been named Top Rated Faculty nine times, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP).
Other current or recent involvements by Mr. Tennery include Board of Stewards for Roswell United Methodist Church, coaching youth ice hockey, Chair for One Great Day of Service, company chair for The United Way campaign, and the Board of Directors for YMCA Camp High Harbour. Mr. Tennery was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for GGFAN Ministries in Kenya, Africa.
