Regent Partners began development of the $56 million Sugar Land Marriott Hotel and Sugar Land Conference Center in 2002.
Designed as a public-private partnership with Stormont Hospitality Group, LLC of Atlanta, Crestline hotels & Resorts, Inc., and the city of Sugar Land, the 300-room hotel had its grand opening in the fall of 2003.
The integrated hotel and conference center is situated on three acres, and is showcased in the new Sugar Land Town Center, a mixed-use development located in one of Houston's premier master-planned communities.
The new mid-rise Sugar Land Marriott and Sugar Land Conference Center features 26,500 square feet of meeting space, and is Fort Bend County's first full service hotel. The 15,500 square foot ballroom is Houston's third largest.
