Signature Projects Tower Place
Located in the heart of the Atlanta, in the Buckhead Business District, Tower Place is a signature example of Regent Partners focus on master planning complex, urban mixed-use developments. Regent originally acquired Tower Place in 1993 from Chemical Bank and subsequently developed 750,000 square feet of new Class A office space, constructed 370 condominium units, redeveloped the 232-room DoubleTree hotel, co-developed the 180-room Courtyard by Marriott, repositioned the original 610,000-square-foot office building, and expanded the retail/restaurant components. Regent also master planned the private roads and park which are now a significant advantage to the ingress/egress of Tower Place tenants and residents; and have established the development as a pedestrian-friendly urban environment.
At the time of purchase, Tower Place consisted of: a 610,000-square-foot, 30-story office building; an 110,000-square foot, 2-story retail center; a 220-room, 5-story hotel; a 60,000-square-foot, 5-story office building; and 4 acres of unimproved (but landlocked) land.
