Mr. Allman is Owner and Chairman of Regent Partners, a real estate development/acquisitions company based in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated
from Dartmouth College in 1976 Magna Cum Laude, as a Rufus Choate
Scholar and with Distinction in Economics.
Prior to founding Regent Partners in 1988, Mr. Allman was with Allman & Company, a commercial real estate brokerage company he founded; Albritton Development Company and Cushman & Wakefield of Georgia.
Mr. Allman has been involved in the development, acquisition, sale, and marketing of all major real estate product types. Notable projects include the acquisition and redevelopment of the 2+ million square foot Tower Place complex in the Buckhead sub-market of Atlanta, including the 50-story 3344 Peachtree mixed-use tower; the acquisition of an RTC portfolio consisting primarily of prime land tracts in Atlanta and selection by the U.S. Army as developer and asset manager for its first privatization of military housing. Since 1993, Regent has developed or acquired more than $1.5 billion in real estate assets throughout the U.S.
Current civic involvements by Mr. Allman include Chairman of the Buckhead Community Improvement District (CID), Chairman of the Livable Communities Coalition (LLC), Executive Committee of the Buckhead Coalition, Board of Directors for Buckhead Community Bank, Governor appointee to Board of Governors for the Georgia World Congress Center, Board of Directors of FCS Urban Ministries and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Atlanta Christian Foundation and Board of Governors for the Georgia Public Policy Foundation. Allman also serves on Opportunity International’s Board of Directors for its Community Development pilot project in Nicaragua.
