Vice President - Development & Acquisitions

Mr. Shurling is Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for Regent Partners where he focuses on the acquisition, development and capitalization of ground-up projects primarily in the office, hotel and residential sectors. In addition to those responsibilities, Mr. Shurling has been active in the asset management of certain office, residential, land and retail properties as well as the sales and marketing efforts of for-sale residential.

Prior to joining Regent Partners, Mr. Shurling worked for GE Capital for approximately five years structuring and executing highly leveraged financial transactions for a variety of purposes including leveraged buy-outs, management buy-outs, recapitalizations and mergers. Mr. Shurling also spent five years in Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance Group.

Mr. Shurling obtained a B.A. in History from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from Emory University. Mr. Shurling is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Urban Land Institute
